THINGS TO EDIT

After my teacher had reviewed the work I had produced so far, he suggested making some alterations for an all round better product. Next thing to do is to make these changes and hopefully end up with a better magazine. Below are the suggestions made:

Front Cover:
- Move Masthead and Slogan downwards, making room for cover lines to be placed in the top red banner. This will de-clutter the cover as it looks too busy.
- Remove the cover lines you have placed in banner.
-Make the main image bigger, involving more space.
-Change type face in banners

Contents Page:
-Delete "page"- no need to have them as its obvious its the page number.
-Make the "From the Editor" note smaller and in a separate box
-Put the Publishing notes in a separate box also.
-Make the image of the cover star/main artist bigger and ensure he is the subject of the contents page.

Double Page Spread:
-Delete grey boxes
-Make the images of the artist bigger and involve more of the page.
-Add introductory paragraph before interview text.
-Add page numbers
-Change the type face for the title- "Music's an Adventure"
-Make the "Oliver Perry" the same text as the front cover.
